Hearing, Eyesight & Foot Protection when Shooting; Over & In Ear, Glasses & Closed Toe Shoes

There are ways you can train yourself so that if you are faced with a dangerous situation you can keep yourself safe. You can take some personal defense classes and you can get into shooting and handling a gun. There are lots of options you can use to protect yourself with a gun. Ear Protection for Shooting

When you are new to shooting you are sure to find out quickly that the sound is quite loud. The noise that comes from just about any weapon can be enough that it can start to create trouble with your ears. It can affect your hearing and can end up causing damage that cannot be fixed. When you are shooting you need to make sure you protect your ears from the sound. You want to make sure you use ear protection and the great thing is that there are a lot of options. You can use an over the ear protection. This will cover the entire ear and prevent the sound from causing damage. You can also use one and done ear plugs that can be squished and placed in the ear canal. They will then expand to fit the ear and block the sound. You can also use in the ear protection that can be reused as well.

Wear Eye Protection when Shooting

When you are shooting you are sure to find out quickly that there is going to be debris that is flying around. You may not realize it but shooting can be dirty and messy and can have debris that you want to keep out of your eyes. There is at minimum spent cartridges that are going to be coming as you shoot each bullet. The problem is that you want to make sure you are using something that protects your eyes. You can use clear glasses or shaded glasses. You can even choose to wear googles as well to have a way to protect your eyes.

Closed Toe Shoes for Shooting

You also want to make sure that you know that you are only wearing closed toe shoes. Your feet should be protected from the debris that might fall. You also need to have a good solid stance and grip when you are shooting and good fitting shoes is the way to go.
